Day one of the a modified vegetarian diet. Modified meaning I’m still planning to eat eggs, dairy and seafood, at least for now. I’ve gone meatless before, but I will come clean and say it was never about ‘health’ and always about ‘being skinny.’ So this will be different. I feel really equipped to do it, having worked with a nutritionist all last year and talking about alternative sources of protein. At the time, it was because I couldn’t swallow meat. Now, I’m just choosing not to :) I think I’m actually going to schedule a couple visits with her, though, just to make sure I’m in check. Aside from that, I have a good knowledge base about overall nutrition and a hippie mom that taught me all about complete protein growing up. So, I’m ready. Now, to troll the internets for delicious meatless recipes, which for me is half the fun!
